No but right now there is no incentive for people to sign up. With the other forums people are already members. It would also discourage lurkers.

i wouldn't care. this forum should stay open to read for everyone so they can see it has some cool topics. otherwise it looks just like any other forum with what, 10 users?
if people are into cool topics, they may read it for all i care. if they want to join the fun and reply, they need to sign up
