These forums do not tie directly into IMVU.
Therefore if you want to use your IMVU username as your display name message me and I will have it changed. So you can still log in as "user123" but your display name will be "MyIMVUname" this also means if someone registers with your IMVU username and it's not you, you MUST message me in IMVU with the user account letting me know and I'll fix it. If you have any questions about this let me know.
Also to prevent fraud or wrongdoing any account the is created that is a IMVU moderator, or IMVU staff must message me in client to confirm it is in fact them creating the account. I don't need anything more than a "it's me" sent as the same time the account is created. This prevents people from posing as staff.
